Last week, long-time Show Manager Loretta Miles announced her retirement. Over a twenty year period, Loretta worked with Cygnus Business Media?s pavement products including Pavement Maintenance & Reconstruction magazine, National Pavement Expo and National Pavement Expo West. Cultivating strong relationships and delivering successful marketing solutions for her customers was Loretta?s forte. She was held in high regard by both her customers and peers because of her credibility within the industry. Doug Zoerb of BOMAG Americas, Inc. said ?It has been an absolute pleasure to work with a professional like Loretta. We appreciate everything she?s done and wish her the best in her retirement.? While Loretta will certainly miss the tradeshow business, she explained that she?ll be focused on the relaxation and recreation that comes with retirement, ?I am looking forward to perfecting my golf game, playing bridge and spending much more time with my family but will miss the relationships forged over the years,? says Loretta. ?It has been a privilege and a pleasure to work with my many customers and colleagues.? As a result of Loretta?s departure, Amy Schwandt, Publisher of Pavement Maintenance and Reconstruction magazine, and her team will manage accounts for both print/online advertising and exhibit space and Lynnette Sjoquist will take on the role of Show Manager of National Pavement Expo and National Pavement Expo West. Lynnette brings a wealth of trade show experience and will work closely with Allan Heydorn to continue to deliver the industry?s two finest events. ?Loretta certainly leaves big shoes to fill, however, I?m excited about this new experience and am pleased that we?ll be streamlining the trade show, magazine and interactive sales process to more effectively serve our customers,? explains Lynnette.
